Recognition & Government Partnership

Recognized where
it matters most.

Feed My Sheep is not an outsider to Rwanda's systems. It is one of the district's recognized Early Childhood Development centers, decorated three times by Gasabo District and trusted with government referrals since 2020.

Don't take our word for it: ask. Any donor is welcome to verify our work with Gasabo District, the Kinyinya and Gisozi sector offices, the health centers that refer children to us, or the City of Kigali, and to visit Kagugu any day the center is open.

Rwanda's National Mission · NST2

Rwanda has set the goal.
We are part of the answer.

Under the National Strategy for Transformation (NST2), Rwanda has committed to cut child stunting by more than half between 2024 and 2029. The early results are real, but the final stretch is the hardest, and it will not be reached from government offices alone.

NST2 target · 2029

What the target means

Hundreds of thousands of Rwandan children must move from the red zone to the green zone in five years, through better nutrition, early childhood development, and stronger families. It is one of the headline goals of the nation's own development strategy.

Our contribution

Feed My Sheep is government co-designed by practice: district and sector leaders identify and refer the children; growth monitoring runs through local health centres. We are an extension of Rwanda's own systems, not a parallel structure.

Why we are trusted

Three consecutive years as Best Community Partner in Gasabo District, recognised by the City of Kigali, active in the Joint Action Development Forum, earned through eleven cohorts of visible, measurable results.
